Terms & Conditions

 

We [Perfect Moment Events] are the supplier to the customer hiring the goods, with the contract being between the supplier and the customer.

All hire goods remain the property of the supplier, the supplier is not responsible for injury or damage to persons or property sustained from the goods whilst under hire.

During the hire period the customer is solely responsible for hire goods.

Contract for hire goods is between the customer and supplier , not the venue unless venue have directly hired goods

It is the customers responsibility to inform the venue is instructed so the terms and conditions are met.

Damaged hire goods will be charged at full replacement value including delivery charges to the supplier. Supplier will infom the customer within 30 days in writing of any damaged items and an invoice sent outlining any and all costs, charges made for any damaged goods, including rips, tears, stains from earth, candle wax or grease.

Customer must not interfere with the placing or the layout of the goods and must use them in a safe and correct manner. Customer must protect goods from damage and theft.

Customer must not remove goods from the venue,

Supplier accepts no liability for the goods during the hire period

Damaged goods remain the property of the supplier, customer may not continue to use goods once they have been damaged, and will not attempt to repair said damaged goods.

If goods are not returned at the end of the hire period agreed, the supplier reserves the right to charge for cost of replacement goods.

Payment Delivery and Set Up :

Bookings are secure only once deposit is received

Amount of deposit will be made clear on initial invoice.

Payment due dates will be made clear on issued invoices

All quotations will be valid for 30 days, unless otherwise advised in writing by supplier in writing

Supplier will carry out delivery, set up and collection as agreed with the customer prior to the hire period.

If at point of set up the chairs are different from the ones agreed by the customer at the point of contract this may result in the ordered covers not fitting, in this instance refunds will not apply.

To avoid this the supplier must be notified prior to the hire start date if the venue changes the chairs.

Set up will take place on day of the event or the day before with collection made the following day after the event.

Any and all items ordered for hire to be paid in full prior to hire start date.

Supplier will accept payment of hire goods by BACS Transfer or Cash

We are currently VAT exempt and therefore you do not pay VAT on your order

CANCELLATION :

All cancellation notices must be received in writing and will result in the forfeit of the deposit and any other monies paid.

CONDITIONS :

We shall make all efforts at all times to carry out all orders accepted, it must be a condition that we shall not be responsible for any loss sustained as a result of delay or failed delivery caused by breakdowns, accidents, fire, flood, extreme weather conditions or any other causes outwith our control.

Acceptance of the services provided by Perfect Moment Events is acceptance of theses terms and conditions. By accepting these terms and conditions the customer declares they comply with legal requirements.
